Hemerocallis, 'orange daylilies'

Plant ID:

Hemerocallis, 'fulva'
This species has several common names based on geographic location, but are probably most often referred to as 'orange daylilies'.

Description:
These are the oldest day lilies in the Hemerocallis family,  and are featured in the logo for Lilies Nursery! The long stems hold bright orange flowers about 36" from the ground.

Attributes:
As the tallest species of Hemerocallis, 'orange daylilies' are a great companions to medium and short day lilies like the 'fragrant returns' and 'mini pearls' that we also grow for our customers!

Where To Plant:
Full sun to part-shade.
Mix with your other favorite day lilies for a beautiful blend of color all summer long! Consider as an understory-border to 'endless summer' Hydrangea for a traditional, coastal style.
